Minutes of Regular Meeting
January 6, 2009
Enfield Room – 6:40 p.m.
Present
Barbara Kelly, Terri Jedynak, Mary Keller, Hal Grout, Diane Carlone and Yvonne Wollenberg
Acceptance of Minutes
Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted by Hal Grout and seconded by Terri Jedynak.
Chairperson’s Remarks
Diane mentioned we have 6 tickets remaining for Jersey Boys on February 15. The tickets are $79.
Our Wine/Beer tasting has 30 sign-ups to date.
Blue Man Group is scheduled for April 25. Tickets are $60. Yvonne will find out the length of the performance so that we can arrange bus pick-up. Let Barbara know this information since she is dealing with the bus company.
Treasurer’s Report
Terri reported that we presently have $3,429.00 in our account after all outstanding bills have been paid. She was presented with a bill for SESAC by our staff liaison in the amount of $281.
Staff Liaison’s Remarks
Mary handed out our meeting agenda for the coming year.
Mary brought us up to date on the trips being sponsored by the Recreation Dept.

· Boston Red Sox – still openings
Old Business
We have had a successful past few months.
It was suggested that at the library Festival of Trees perhaps someone could read “A Visit from St. Nick”. Also suggested was some interactive entertainment at this event.
