Minutes of Regular Meeting
Enfield Room – 6:30 p.m.
Present
Barbara Kelly, Mary Keller, Hal Grout, Yvonne Wollenberg and Diane Carlone
Acceptance of Minutes
A correction was made to the minutes – the meeting was held in the Thompsonville Room. Minutes were accepted with correction by Hal Grout and seconded by Barbara Kelly.
Chairperson’s Remarks
Diane mentioned that our count for Blue Man Group is now at 31. There are still seats available for this event. Posters were passed out to place around town to promote this event.
Treasurer’s Report (Diane gave report in Terri’s absence)
Our regular account is now at zero balance. Our special account is $27,136.19.
Staff Liaison’s Remarks
Mary had nothing to report at this meeting.
Old Business
Wine/Beer Tasting – A comment was made that we were disappointed that an educational program did not take place during the wine/beer tasting. For our next event of this nature we will make certain that this educational process happens.
Diane has been in touch with Donna Cavey of Silver Mill Tours regarding a trip for our organization to Rhode Island. She will report progress as she receives it.
New Business
We have received a request from the 4th of July Committee to again contribute to this event. We agreed that we would contribute $500.
The group also agreed that we would look into getting tickets to Tanglewood this summer to see Tony Bennett. Yvonne will handle this project.
The meeting ended at 7:20 p.m. with a motion by Hal Grout and seconded by Barbara Kelly.
