FINANCIAL REPORT
Chairman Reidy reviewed the financial report and stated there was $1800 left until June 30th. Jaclyn asked if money can be carried over to the next fiscal year. Chairman Reidy stated it must go to a committee for approval and it is a long process to carry money over and it is usually only approved only under certain circumstances such as a couple of years ago when money was carried over for the clean sweep program.
FLAG PROGRAM
Chairman Reidy stated there was $605.58 left in the Flag Program fund after Mr. Hartley purchased 30 flags.
Mr. Hartley reviewed the flyer for the ad in the 4th of July and August Mr. Carmel ads for the Flag Program & Adopt-A-Spot.
Mr. Hartley is going to pick up the flags from the tailor on Wednesday. On the second week of May, Public Works is going to put up the flags.
GARDEN CLUB
Ms. Tapp stated they went to go see the memorial in Scitico and it is very exposed. She though it would be a good idea to leave the yew on the right and trim it down. Mr. Hartley took photographs of what it looked like before any improvements were made. The flagpole should be installed any day.
Ms. Bozzuto did a tour of the Enfield Town Hall ground and noticed the mums are growing. She requested that the grounds keepers do not pull them out and hand groom the hostas instead of raking them.
Ms. Tapp talked to Joanne Nice about planting around the gazebo. She discussed with Piya Hawkes about expanding the planting space from two feet to four feet. They wanted a little more room for planting and they all agreed upon expanding it to five feet.
Mr. Hartley asked if the Public Works department has installed a water pipe at the gazebo. Chairman Reidy stated she is going to ask Dave Tuttle if there is a water pipe to water the plants in the gazebo area.
Ms. Tapp stated she talked with Mr. Hawkes regarding the possibility of splitting the costs of the gazebo improvements with the Garden Club and the Town of Enfield. Dave Tuttleās guys will plant around the gazebo as long as we can get them early enough before they start with their work for the summer.
Ms. Bozzuto stated the Honor Society will help with planting at the senior center.
ADOPT-A-SPOT
Chairman Reidy stated all packets and envelopes are ready to be sent out.
Mr. Hartley stated he is going to remove the sign on the South end of Phoenix Avenue because it is crooked and falling down.

The committee has requested a list of locations or a map of the parks and memorials in town.
Ms. Frenette Motioned to adjourn at 8:05 PM, Mr. Hartley seconded the motion.
The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday May 4, 2010 in the Thompsonville Room, Town Hall.
