Present: Mike Cotnoir, Tim Jensen, Marian Dippel, Mary Keller (Liasion), Fran Slattery, Kris Couture, Eddie Lapponese, Paul DaSilva, Tony Secondo, Bob Keller, Stan Dynia, Carl Neuschaefer, Howie Bromage

Mike called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.  The checkbook balance is $12,531.21 (golf tournament expenses not yet deducted) and the CD remains the same.

Committees:

Golf – Tim reported that 108 golfers participated this year and although less golfers played, monetarily we did as well as last year.  Next year’s golf tournament will be either May 1^st or May 15^th

Field Hockey – Marian told us two teams have already signed up and the committee is still working on acquiring officials for the games, but she feels that they are right where they need to be at this time.  The tournament is scheduled for Sunday, June 7^th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Scholarship – The scholarship award night will be Monday, June 1^st at Fermi and Wednesday, June 3^rd at Enfield.  The following committee members have agreed to present: Marian Dippel at Enfield High, Susan Davis at Fermi High and Howie Bromage at Fermi High who will present the Amy Romano scholarship.  The winners of the scholarships will be named in the next meeting minutes.

Nominating – The balance of the meeting was taken up with the balloting for our new inductees for 2009.  The results of the balloting will be in the next meeting minutes.

Finally the board decided not to meet in June or July; therefore, our next meeting will be Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Senior Center.
