1.             Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:25 pm. by Randy Daigle.

2.             Roll Call: Present at the meeting was Randy Daigle, Mike Pestana, Harry Seilhammer, Nat Caminiti

3.             Committee Review:

3.1          Peter Falk was nominated as President by M. Pestana and Seconded by H. Seilhammer. He was unanimously voted in.

3.2          Randy Daigle was nominated as Secretary by M. Pestana and Seconded by N. Caminiti.

                He was unanimously voted in.

3.3          The “2011 Enfield Patriots Award Nomination Form” was reviewed and approved.

3.4          The “2011 Enfield Patriot Award Nominees Sought” Press Release was reviewed and approved.

3.5          R. Daigle will send Deb McCarthy  the minutes for distribution.

3.6          H. Seilhammer will be dropping off some Nomination Forms at the next Veterans Council meeting.

3.7          Nomination Forms will be due May 27, 2011 and mailed to the committee for review by May 30, 2011.

3.8          The committee will meet on June 7, 2011 at 7:00 pm to review all applicants and pick a winner.

3.9          The award will be giving out on Sunday July 10, 2011 during the Town Celebration. All committee members will be invited to the presentation.

4.             Miscellaneous: The next Enfield Patriot Award meeting will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 7:00 in the Thompsonville Conference Room in the Enfield Town Hall.
