ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2010

 

A Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.  The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.

 

ROLL CALL – Present were Councilmen Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin, Kiner, Lee and Nelson.  Councilmen Crowley, Keller and Mangini were absent. Also present were Town Manager, Matthew Coppler; Assistant Town Manager, Daniel Vindigni; Town Attorney, Kevin Deneen; Chief of Police, Carl Sferrazza and Public Safety Director, Christopher Bromson.

 

MOTION #761 by Councilman Hall, seconded by Councilman Kiner to go into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations.

 

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #761 adopted 8-0-0.

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION

 

The Executive Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin at 5:31 p.m.

 

ROLL-CALL – Present were Councilmen Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin, Kiner, Lee and Nelson.  Also present were Town Manager, Matthew Coppler; Assistant Town Manager, Daniel Vindigni; Town Attorney, Kevin Deneen; Chief of Police, Carl Sferrazza and Public Safety Director, Christopher Bromson.

 

Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

 

Chairman Kaupin adjourned the Executive session at 6:45 p.m.  He reconvened the Special Meeting at 6:46 p.m. and stated during Executive Session, Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

 

Item #3 on the agenda was not discussed. (General Police Items)

 

ADJOURNMENT

 

MOTION #762 by Councilman Hall, seconded by Councilman Kiner to adjourn.

 

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #648 adopted 9-0-0, and the meeting stood adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
