ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING

MONDAY, MARCH 15, 2010

A Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, March 15, 2010.  The meeting was called to order at 5:32 p.m.

ROLL-CALL – Present were Councilmen Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Kaupin, Keller and Nelson.  Councilman Hall arrived at 5:33 p.m. and Councilman Lee at 5:35 p.m.  Councilmen Crowley, Kiner and Mangini were absent.  Also present Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Assistant Town Attorney Mark Cerrato, Assessor Della Confer, Town Clerk Suzanne Olechnicki.

MOTION #0789 by Councilman Nelson, seconded by Councilman Bosco to go into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #0789 adopted

6-0-0 and the meeting stood recessed at 5:33 p.m.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

The Executive Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin at 5:34 p.m.

ROLL-CALL – Present were Councilmen Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin, Keller and Nelson.  Councilman Lee arrived at 5:35 p.m.  Councilmen Crowley, Kiner and Mangini were absent.  Also present Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Assistant Town Attorney Mark Cerrato, Assessor Della Confer, Town Clerk Suzanne Olechnicki.

Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

Chairman Kaupin recessed the Executive Session at 6:59 p.m.  He reconvened the Special Meeting at 7:00 p.m. and stated that during Executive Session, Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

ADJOURNMENT

MOTION #0790 by Councilman Nelson, seconded by Councilman Bosco to adjourn.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #0790 adopted

8-0-0 and the meeting stood adjourned at 7:01 p.m.
