ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING

MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2010

A Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, April 5, 2010.  The meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m.

ROLL-CALL – Present were Councilmen Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin, Keller, Kiner, Lee and Mangini Councilman Nelson arrived at 5:33 p.m.  Councilmen Crowley was absent.  Also present Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Town Attorney Kevin Deneen, Director of Development Services Raymond Warren, Director of Human Resources Steven Bielenda, Town Clerk Suzanne Olechnicki.

MOTION #0806 by Councilman Mangini, seconded by Councilman Lee to go into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #0806 adopted

9-0-0 and the meeting stood recessed at 5:32 p.m.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

The Executive Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin at 5:33 p.m.

ROLL-CALL – Present were Councilmen Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin, Keller, Kiner, Lee, Mangini and Nelson.  Councilmen Crowley was absent.  Also present Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Town Attorney Kevin Deneen, Director of Development Services Raymond Warren, Director of Human Resources Steven Bielenda, Town Clerk Suzanne Olechnicki.

Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

Chairman Kaupin recessed the Executive Session at 6:50 p.m.  He reconvened the Special Meeting at 6:51 p.m. and stated that during Executive Session, Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

ADJOURNMENT

MOTION #0807 by Councilman Kiner, seconded by Councilman Hall to adjourn.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #0807 adopted

10-0-0 and the meeting stood adjourned at 6:52 p.m.
