ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING/BUDGET REVIEW SESSION

MONDAY, APRIL 12, 2010

The Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 6:03 p.m.

ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin and Kiner.  Councilman Keller arrived at 6:06 p.m., Councilman Bosco at 6:12 p.m., Councilman Lee at 6:17 p.m. and Councilman Nelson at 6:26 p.m.  Councilman Crowley and Mangini were absent.  Also present Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Town Attorney Kevin Deneen, Director of Finance Lynn Nenni, Registrars of Voters Carol Censki and David Wawer, Judge of Probate Susan Warner, Director of Human Resources Stephen Bielenda, Personnel Coordinator Dawn Maselek, Benefits Coordinator Susan Wilson, Library Director Henry Dutcher, Assistant Library Director Mary Palomba, Recreation Supervisor Mary Keller, Assistant Recreation Supervisor Alison Alberghini, Town Clerk Suzanne Olechnicki.

Discussion/Review for this session focused on Registrar of Votes, Probate, Human Resources, Library, Town Clerk, Town Council, Town Manager, Emergency Management, Recreation, Town Attorney, Finance Administration, Treasury, Tax Collection, Assessor and Purchasing

MOTION #831 by Councilman Nelson, seconded by Councilman Dumont to go into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Matters.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken the Chair declared MOTION #831 adopted 9-0-0 and the meeting stood adjourned at 8:30 p.m.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

The Executive Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin at 8:31 p.m.

ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin, Keller, Kiner, Lee and Nelson.  Councilman Crowley and Mangini were absent.  Also present Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Town Clerk Suzanne Olechnicki

Personnel Matters were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

Chairman Kaupin recessed the Executive Session at 8:32 p.m.  He reconvened the Special Meeting at 8:33 p.m. and stated that during Executive Session, Personnel Matters were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

ADJOURNMENT

MOTION #832 by Councilman Nelson, seconded by Councilman Lee to adjourn.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #832 adopted

9-0-0 and the meeting stood adjourned at 8:34 p.m.
