ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL
MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING/BUDGET REVIEW SESSION
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14, 2010
The Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Wednesday April 14, 2010 at 6:04 p.m.
ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Crowley, Dumont, Hall, Kaupin, Kiner, Mangini and Nelson. Councilman Bosco and Keller arrived at 6:25 p.m. and Councilman Edgar at 8:50 p.m. Councilmen Crowley left the meeting at 8:15 p.m. Councilman Lee was absent. Also present were Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Director of Finance Lynn Nenni, Chief of Police Carl Sferrazza, Captain Gary Collins, Lieutenant Fred Hall, Sergeant John Carney, EMS Director Kevin Sullivan, Director of Public Safety Christopher Bromson, Project Coordinator for Information Technologies Robert Sperrazza, Town Clerk Suzanne Olechnicki. Also present, Chairman Theodore J. Plamondon Jr. for the Enfield Veterans Council.
RESOLUTION #833 by Councilman Nelson, seconded by Councilman Mangini
RESOLVED, that the Town Manager, Matthew W. Coppler, is authorized to enter into and amend an agreement with the State of Connecticut, Department of Public Safety for use of certain mapping products obtained by the DPS pursuant to an enterprise license between the State of Connecticut and the vendor of such products and to affix the Corporate Seal.
Upon a ROLL-CALL vote being taken, the Chair declared RESOLUTION #833 adopted 7-0-0
BUDGET DISCUSSION – VETERAN’S COUNCIL, POLICE DEPARTMENT & EMS
The Enfield Veteran’s Council, Public Safety, Public Safety Communications, Public Safety Administration and Emergency Medical Services Fund budget proposals were reviewed.
There was no Executive Session.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION #834 by Councilman Nelson, seconded by Councilman Mangini to adjourn.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #834 adopted 9-0-0 and the meeting stood adjourned at 8:50 p.m. |
