ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING/BUDGET REVIEW SESSION

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21, 2010

The Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Wednesday April 21, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Bosco, Crowley, Dumont, Hall, Kaupin, Keller, Kiner, Lee, and Mangini.  Councilman Nelson arrived at 7:10 p.m. and Councilman Edgar at 8:04 p.m.  Also present were Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Director of Finance Lynn Nenni.

Present from the Board of Education, Chairman Gregory Stokes, Vincent Grady, Joyce Hall, Thomas Sirard, Donna Szewczak and Stacy Thurston.  Also present Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Gallacher, Assistant Superintendent of Schools Anthony Torre, Business Manager Chris Chemerka, Director of Human Resources Chris Drezek.

BUDGET DISCUSSION – BOARD OF EDUCATION

The Board of Education proposed budget was reviewed.

There was no Executive Session.

ADJOURNMENT

MOTION #857 by Councilman Nelson, seconded by Councilman Mangini to adjourn.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #857 adopted 11-0-0 and the meeting stood adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
