ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING

JUNE 7, 2010

A Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, June 7, 2010.  The meeting was called to order at 5:51 p.m.

ROLL CALL – Present were Councilmen Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin, Kiner, Lee, Mangini and Nelson.  Councilmen Crowley and Keller were absent. Also present were Town Manager, Matthew Coppler and Town Clerk, Suzanne Olechnicki

MOTION #923 by Councilman Nelson, seconded by Councilman Mangini to go into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #923 adopted 8-1-0, with Councilman Edgar against, and the meeting stood recessed at 5:52 p.m.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

The Executive Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin at 5:53 p.m.

ROLL-CALL – Present were Councilmen Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin, Kiner, Lee, Nelson and Nelson.  Also present were Town Manager, Matthew Coppler; Town Clerk, Suzanne Olechnicki

Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

Chairman Kaupin adjourned the Executive session at 6:51 p.m.  He reconvened the Special Meeting at 6:52 p.m. and stated during Executive Session, Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

ADJOURNMENT

MOTION #924 by Councilman Hall, seconded by Councilman Bosco to adjourn.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #924 adopted 9-0-0, and the meeting stood adjourned at 6:53 p.m.
