A meeting of the Water Pollution Control Authority was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Council Chambers of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, June 7, 2010.  The meeting was called to order at 9:06 p.m.

ROLL-CALL – Present were Commissioners Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Hall, Kaupin, Kiner Lee, Mangini and Nelson. Commissioners Crowley and Keller were absent. Also present were Town Manager, Matthew Coppler; Assistant Town Manager, Daniel Vindigni; Town Clerk, Suzanne Olechnicki; Town Attorney, Kevin Deneen

MINUTES OF PRECEDING MEETING

MOTION #6139 by Commissioner Lee, seconded by Commissioner Nelson to accept the minutes of the May 17, 2010 meeting.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6139 adopted 9-0-0.

RESOLUTION #6140 by Commissioner Lee, seconded by Commissioner Hall.

WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 103, Section 7-255 of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Enfield Water Pollution Control Authority held a Public Hearing on June 7, 2010 at 6:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut, hearing comments on properties effected by the proposed 2010-2011 sewer use charge rate;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Enfield Water Pollution Control Authority does hereby set the sewer use charge rate for the 2010-2011 billing at $1.56 per thousand gallons of wastewater treated.

Upon a ROLL-CALL vote being taken, the Chair declared RESOLUTION #6140 adopted 9-0-0.

MOTION #6141 by Commissioner Hall, seconded by Commissioner Lee to adjourn.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6141 adopted 9-0-0, and the meeting stood adjourned at 9:08 p.m.
