MINUTES OF A PUBLIC HEARING

MONDAY, JUNE 21, 2010

A Public Hearing was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Council Chamber of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 7:12 p.m.

ROLL-CALL – Present were Councilmen Bosco, Crowley, Dumont, Edgar, Kaupin, Keller, Kiner, Lee, Mangini and Nelson. Councilman Hall was absent.  Also present were Town Manager, Matthew Coppler; Assistant Town Manager, Daniel Vindigni; Town Clerk, Suzanne Olechnicki; Town Attorney, Kevin Deneen

Chairman Kaupin read the notice of Public Hearing, which was published in the Hartford Courant on Friday, June 11, 2010 as follows:

LEGAL NOTICE - PUBLIC HEARING

MONDAY, JUNE 21, 2010

The Enfield Town Council will hold a Public Hearing in the Enfield Town Hall Council Chambers, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 6:45 p.m. to allow interested citizens an opportunity to express their opinions regarding the proposed amendment to the schedule of fees for permits issued by the division of building inspection ordinance.

Chairman Kaupin announced the ground rules for the Public Hearing.

He explained the proposed increase is from $15.00 per thousand dollars of value to $16.00 per thousand dollars of value.

As no one wished to speak, Chairman Kaupin closed the Public Hearing at 7:13 p.m.
