ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL MINUTES OF A PUBLIC HEARING NOVEMBER 15, 2004
A Public Hearing was called to order by Chairman Tallarita in the Council Chambers of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, November 15, 2004. The Hearing was called to order at 7:33 p.m.
ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Crowley, Dodd, Edgar, Fiore, Kaupin, Mangini, Peruta, Reveruzzi, Tait, and Tallarita.. Councilman Egan was absent.. Also present were Town Manager, Scott Shanley; Assistant Town Manager, Daniel Vindigni; Town Clerk, Suzanne Olechnicki; Town Attorney, Christopher Bromson; Director of Finance, Gregory Simmons; Director of Information Services, Charlene Bond; Director of Public Works, John Kazmarski
Chairman Tallarita read the notice of Public Hearing which was published in the Journal Inquirer on Friday, November 5, 2004 as follows:
TOWN OF ENFIELD LEGAL NOTICE - PUBLIC HEARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2004
"Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Chapter 103, Section 7-255 of the Connecticut General Statutes, a Public Hearing will be held before the Water Pollution Control Authority/Enfield Sewer Authority giving concerned property owners an opportunity to speak on the proposed 2003-2004 Sewer Use Charge. Said Public Hearing will be held on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 7:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut. The proposed rate is $2.84 per thousand gallons of waste water treated. Said rate and notice is on file with the Enfield Town Clerk's Office."
Chairman Tallarita announced the ground rules for the Public Hearing and invited speakers to come forward.
As no one else wished to speak, Chairman Tallarita closed the Public Hearing at 7:35 p.m.
