A meeting of the Water Pollution Control Authority was called to order by Chairman Tallarita in the Council Chambers of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, August 16, 2004. The meeting was called to order at 9:25 p.m.
ROLL-CALL - Present were Commissioners Crowley, Dodd, Edgar, Fiore, Peruta, Reveruzzi, and Tallarita. Commissioner Egan, Kaupin, Mangini, and Tait were absent.. Also present were Town Manager, Scott Shanley; Assistant Town Manager, Daniel Vindigni; Town Clerk, Suzanne Olechnicki; Town Attorney, Christopher Bromson; Deputy Director of Public Works, Geoffrey McAlmond; Director of Information Technology, Charlene Bond; Director of Finance, Gregory Simmons.
MINUTES OF PRECEDING MEETING
MOTION #6058 by Commissioner Crowley, seconded by Commissioner Dodd to accept the minutes of the June 7, 2004 meeting.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6058 adopted 7-0-0.
MOTION #6059 by Commissioner Fiore seconded by Commissioner Reveruzzi to waive the reading of the resolution.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6059 adopted 7-0-0.
RESOLUTION #6060 by Commissioner Fiore, seconded by Commissioner Reveruzzi.
Resolution re. Exterior Grease Trap Waiver, Rinaldi's Italian Specialities, 17 Enfield St.
Mr. McAlmond stated both the Director of Public Works and the Director of the North Central Health District recommend this be approved.
AMENDMENT #1 by Commissioner Fiore, seconded by Commissioner Reveruzzi to change the address within the resolution to read 17 Enfield Street.
Commissioner Fiore stated he will abstain from voting on this resolution.
Upon a ROLL-CALL vote being taken, the Chair declared RESOLUTION #6060 adopted 6-0-1, with Commissioner Fiore abstaining.
MOTION #6061 by Commissioner Fiore, seconded by Commissioner Crowley to waive the reading of the resolution.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6061 adopted 7-0-0.
RESOLUTION #6162 by Commissioner Fiore, seconded by Commissioner Edgar.
Resolution re. Exterior Grease Trap Waiver, Blair Manor, 612 Hazard Av.
Upon a ROLL-CALL vote being taken, the Chair declared RESOLUTION #6162 adopted 7-0-0.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION #6163 by Commissioner Fiore, seconded by Commissioner Edgar to adjourn.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6163 adopted 7-0-0, and the meeting stood adjourned at 9:35 p.m.
