Henry Barnard Summer Reading 2009

Please refer to the form that was sent home from school.

All incoming 6th graders are required to read ONE of these three books this summer:

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief
by Rick Riordan (Fantasy genre)

My Side of the Mountain
by Jean Craighead George (Realistic Fiction genre)

Knots in My Yo-Yo String
by Jerry Spinelli (Nonfiction genre)

This is mandatory for all 6th grade students.  We will be doing activities with these books starting on the first day of school.
