Teen Advisory Board
Help to plan programs ~ Learn about volunteer opportunities ~ Meet new friends
_____________________________________________________________________________
The Teen Advisory Board will have a Fall Meeting on Tuesday, September 13th at 7:30 p.m. to preview the teen and “tween” library programs and volunteer opportunities that will take place through the end of the year.
The meeting will be an ice cream social, where students ages 12-18 can meet each other, sign up for various programs, and EAT!
There may be possible volunteer opportunities for a limited number of qualified teens. They may involve helping with crafts or face painting at children’s programs such as the Drop & Shop program on Saturday, December 10th, or helping to prepare crafts for story times.
First priority is given to teens who need volunteer hours for school honor societies and school-related community service organizations.
Teens may also want to preview programs available to them such as practice SAT tests, movies, or writing groups.
Please sign up for the ice cream social in advance if you want your fair share of hot fudge! 860-763-7510.
