Meadowlark Road to Yale Drive Drainage Channel Improvements Project
This project consists of improvements to a watercourse which is a tributary of Beemans Brook in the southeast section of Enfield. The tributary watershed area consists of approximately 200 acres, beginning at the Enfield High School property and continuing south. The Meadowlark Road to Yale Drive Channel project consists of approximately 1,200 feet of existing channel reconstruction to provide for better flow characteristics. At #46 Yale Drive, rip rap stone will be used to stabilize the slope adjacent to the house structure. The proposed grass channel will have a minimum slope of 0.5%, minimum bottom width of three feet and two to one side slopes. The slopes will be seeded and erosion control blanket material will utilize for stabilization.
