  • HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $12.00

  • HOURS OF WORK: 19 per week .  Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

  • EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: High school diploma or equivalency (GED).


GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:  Duties involve performing a variety of routine tasks, simple in nature, assisting and setting up for meetings and events. 


SUPERVISION RECEIVED:  Works under the immediate supervision of the Senior Center Director, or other designated supervisor, who issues specific instructions regarding tasks to be done and who checks periodically to see that tasks are done in accordance with instructions.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Regular & punctual attendance; duties involve: set-up and take-down of tables, light cleaning, moving chairs, sweeping, prepare coffee, event preparation and set-up, opening the Center, storing delivered dry goods and frozen foods; monitor inventory.


OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:  Performs other duties and related work as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms.  The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls.  The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.


The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.


May be exposed to dust, fluctuations in inside temperature and electro-magnetic radiation as a computer screen.

Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
