TEMPORARY LABORERS - LEAF RAKING PROGRAM
Hours of work are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Town of Enfield Department of Public Works is seeking temporary laborers from November 5, 2007 through November 27, 2007 for the Leaf Program. Laborers will be responsible for working with permanent DPW employees and contractors in raking/removing leaves from Town property. Starting pay is $10.00 per hour. Laborers may be entitled to bonuses at the end of the program as follows: If an employee successfully completes the entire leaf program, from date of hire into the program through November 27, 2007 they will be paid an additional $240.00. An absence of one day from work will disqualify an employee from this bonus. If the crew an employee is assigned to meets the established goal for total volume collection of leaves for the entire program, each temporary laborer assigned to that crew will be paid an additional $360.00. Laborers will most likely be required to work some weekends and holidays.
