Old Town Hall – Exterior Lead Paint Abatement

Sealed bids for exterior lead paint abatement of the Old Town Hall will be received at the Office of the Director of Finance until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2007.  Thereafter, bids will be opened in public and read aloud.

Specifications and bid documents may be obtained from the Office of the Director of Public Works, Stanley E. Jablonski Public Works Complex, 40 Moody Road, Enfield, CT 06082.  Documents must be picked up at the DPW Complex or a fax request to have documents mailed must accompany a Fed-Ex number.  Fax all inquiries to the attention of Joanne Larson at (860) 272-1143. Also any RFI’s are to be faxed no later than August 29, 2007 12:00pm (noon) for a fax response by the end of business day.  No phone calls please.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the Old Town Hall, 1294 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082, on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 11:00am, where a walk-around and discussion of the project will take place. Work consists of exterior lead paint abatement and possibly asbestos caulking removal and must be completed no later than October 5, 2007.

The Town of Enfield reserves the right to accept or reject any, all, or any part of bids, to waive formalities or informalities, and to award the bid deemed to be in the best interests of the Town.
