             Sealed proposals for the project named above will be received at the office of the Director of Finance until 11:00am, Wednesday, June 23, 2004.  Thereafter, proposals will be opened in public and read aloud.

 Request for Proposal (RFP) documents may be obtained from the Office of Community Development during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Office of Community Development, 786 F Enfield Street, Enfield, CT, 06082.  For information please call telephone number 860-253-6390 

             The Town of Enfield reserves the right to accept or reject any, all, or any part of proposals, to waive formalities or informalities, and to award the proposal deemed to be in the best interests of the Town.

              The Town of Enfield is soliciting proposals from qualified developers for the purchase and renovation of a key Thompsonville commercial property currently owned by the Town.  The Town's objective is to sell the property to the most responsible party submitting the most responsive proposal that best meets the Town's needs, taking into account the quality, and the overall plan of the proposal.  Proposals that demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the local community, and that will complement existing Thompsonville businesses are highly desired.
