Sealed bids for the project named above will be received at the office of the Director of Finance located at Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut, 06082, until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.  Thereafter, bids will be opened in public and read aloud.

Specifications, plans and bidding documents may be obtained from the Engineering Division on the second floor of Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT at telephone number (860) 253-6363 or the Town's website, www.enfield-ct.gov.

Bidder shall take note of the following;

1.    The payment of prevailing wages established by state and federal Departments of Labor for the various labor classifications is not a requirement for this Project.

2.    A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held Thursday, December 8, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Enfield Room at the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut.  It is recommended that all interested parties attend.

The Town of Enfield reserves the right to accept or reject any, all, or any part of bids, to waive formalities or informalities, and to award the bid deemed to be in the best interests of the Town.
