Yearly dog licenses must be purchased when a dog reaches the age of 6 months or within 30 days of adopting an older dog and every June thereafter. Reminders will be sent out the end of May for the June licensing season.
In order to obtain a dog license or renewal of a dog license, a valid rabies certificate must be provided or be on file.

For new dogs licensing by mail, please complete a New Dog License Application Provide a rabies certificate and proof of spay or neuter (if applicable)

People moving to Enfield from another Connecticut town with a current dog license can transfer the license for a fee of $1.00 upon presentation of your current license and tag.
A late fee of $1.00 per month will be imposed for each dog not licensed within the month of June.
