Enfield Youth Council

The Enfield Youth Council are young leaders who use research, peer discussion, and community interaction to provide a youth perspective on a wide variety of community and youth related issues. Members participate in town governance, community service and leadership opportunities.

Accomplishments
  • Join with Enfield Together Coalition to prevent underage substance misuse in the community. 
  • In partnership with WACC 107.7 broadcast radio program.
  • Create public service announcements.
  • Implement youth led community projects.
  • Present at local and national conferences.
  • Given testimony at LOB.

The PSA’s have been created by the Enfield Youth Council in partnership with Asnuntuck Community College, 107.7 WACC.

Enfield Youth Services Radio Show


Twice a month on 107.7 WACC, the Enfield Youth Services Radio Show offers the best local interviews and a synopsis of what’s going on in the Town of Enfield. Past guests have ranged from state representatives, Enfield school superintendent, town government officials and local non-profits.
