News Release for the Week of May 4, 2015

The outdoor fitness equipment has been installed on the Senior Center Walking Trail and is ready for use. The instructions are very clear. Take a walk on these beautiful days and try the new enhancements. There are two stations with three different exercises on each. Beautiful new benches have been strategically placed to stop for a rest if you need to. The Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the new equipment will be held on Monday, May 18 at 3 p.m. Bring a chair for the ceremony and then try out the equipment with the instruction of our Fitness Assistants. Lemonade and cookies will be served in the gazebo. Funding for the equipment was provided by a grant from Health New England and additional support from Friends of the Enfield Senior Center.
