News Release for the Week of August 17, 2015

There have been some troubling incidents at a few senior centers across the state. So the Enfield Senior Center would like to be proactive with a few simple safety measures. First of all, if you see something, say something. If something just doesn’t seem right, report it to the front office. Also, it is important for staff to be aware of who is in the building. Make sure you have a swipe card and you use it. We have asked some friendly volunteers to help anyone who does not know how to use the system learn how. If you do not have a card, we will make you one. Additionally, some participants have propped doors open. Please do not do this. Limiting access to the building is a very important security step. Thanks for your help.

Our local firefighters are coming back again! The Firefighter Picnic will be held on Wednesday, September 2 at noon at Enfield Rotary Park at the Enfield Senior Center.
