We are trying something new. It is very simple. You bring a joke and we go around in a circle with each person telling their joke. Join the Laugh Café on Tuesday, September 15 from 10 to 11 a.m.
We’ve added another bus for our trip to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City on Sunday, November 1, 2015. The Museum displays artifacts associated with the events of 9/11, while presenting stories of loss and recovery. The 9/11 Memorial’s twin reflecting pools, nearly an acre in size, sit within the footprints of where the Twin Towers once stood. Visit Chelsea Marketplace, where you will have time for lunch on your own. After lunch, you’ll enjoy a brief walk of the High Line. The High Line is a public park that was built from a historic elevated freight rail line that went above the streets of Manhattan’s West Side. Cost: $74 per person. Register at the Senior Center front desk.
