[ARCHIVED] School Security

IT is assisting the Board of Education in their endeavor to harden the schools. The Board of Education has received a grant to purchase and install new video cameras, proximity card readers, new badge printers. Scanning key cards are being installed on all schools, as an interface to monitor entry ways into the schools. We are also implementing a new visitor management system. Each visitor will be issued a badge with an expiration time. These new features will enhance our security systems within the upcoming months.
