Rock and roll with the Dukes of Hazardville at the Enfield Senior Center with music from the 60s through the 90s. Dance to the sounds of the Dukes on Friday, April 29 at 6 p.m. and enjoy dessert and coffee at the break. Tickets are on sale for $7 per person in the Senior Center office.
The Enfield Senior Center bike riding group, Classic Rollers, are riding again. The inaugural ride of the 2016 season will be Wednesday, April 20 at 10:30 a.m. at the Miller Road Bike Trail in Southwick MA off of Rte. 168. The Classic Rollers are a group of seniors who enjoy leisurely biking through some very pretty countryside. After a one hour or shorter ride the group will meet at the Red Robin Café to discuss future rides. Email or call Melissa at jmd423@hotmail.com or 860-729-9821 if you would like more information.
Stop by in the morning for coffee. We have regular, decaf and flavored. And now we have added made-to-order toast. You can have white, wheat or an English muffin with jelly or butter. Donations are welcome. We will be starting on Monday, April 11 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Join us!
TRIAD, an organization of older adults, police and fire, working to keep seniors safe, is sponsoring Senior Safety Day on Thursday, April 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Enfield Fire Station on Weymouth Road. There will be a free pancake breakfast and lots of safety information. Learn about safety with the hands-on smoke trailer, fire extinguisher demonstrations, the Enfield Police Command Center and more. Free tickets are available at the Enfield Senior Center.
Learn about Digital Cameras on Thursday, April 21 or Thursday, May 5 from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. This is a drop-in class with no need to register. All levels are welcome.
The iPad User Group meets on the second Monday of each month from 1 to 2 p.m. The next meeting is Monday, April 11. At the meeting, the collaborative group shares information that they have learned from using their iPad. Some people bring problems and others have the solution. Join us!
If you have an Alaskan Cruise on your travel bucket list, you won’t want to miss our Informational Trip Presentation on our Alaskan Land & Cruise Tour departing on June 11, 2017, for 13 days. The Friendship Tours Ship Shop’s Cruise Director will be visiting the Enfield Senior Center on Monday, April 18 at 3 pm to present details of this trip. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see what this adventure has to offer.

We will depart aboard a deluxe motor coach for the White Mountains, North Conway, New Hampshire where we’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, and shopping at Settlers Green Outlet Village with over 60 factory outlet stores. We will also hop aboard the world’s first mountain climbing train, The Mount Washington Cog Railway. And, we’ll venture to the Castle in the Clouds, a majestic 5500-acre mountain estate with breathtaking views of Lake Winnipesaukee. The cost of this trip is $473 per person/double occupancy.
