News Release for the Week of May 16, 2016

The Craft Fair and Bake Sale last week was a great success. Even though it was a rainy day, many people came for pancakes and shopping. The Craft Sale, Bake Sale, Basket Raffle, and Quilt Raffle made $3361 to support Senior Center programs. Thanks to all of our hard-working volunteers who worked with Program Coordinator Nancy Darrah to make it a spectacular day!

On the first Wednesday of every month, Parkway Pavilion provides a birthday cake for all Community Café lunch participants to celebrate the birthdays during that month. Parkway Pavilion would also like to provide a small gift to those who have a birthday in that month. Please sign up in the Dining Room if you have a June birthday.

Some of his works include: Minute Man, and Abraham Lincoln for the Lincoln Memorial. Cost: $99 per person. Reservations are being taken at the Senior Center Front Desk.

We’re off to Long Island Sound for a two-hour Lights & Sights Cruise. View lighthouses, a fort, a castle and so much more on this relaxing and educational cruise.
