News Release for the Week of August 22, 2016
Laurie Crisafi, our Fitness Center Assistant, has taken a full-time position and will begin work immediately. We are so sad to see Laurie go after 7 years of hard work and dedication to older adults in this community. Laurie could always be counted on for providing caring and clear guidance in the PRIME Fitness Center. While it is heartbreaking to lose such a valuable staff person, we were fortunate that she shared her talents for so long. We wish you well, Laurie. You will be missed.
The award-winning Beatles tribute band, Beatles for Sale, is returning to the Enfield Senior Center for another exciting performance. Tickets are available for the Friday, September 23, 6 p.m. show. This band of talented musicians was drawn together by their love of Beatles music and the desire to keep the music alive. The $7 ticket price includes coffee and dessert. For Beatles fans, you do not want to miss this show.
The Annual Firefighter Picnic will be held on Wednesday, September 7 at noon. Our wonderful Enfield firefighters grill hamburgers and hot dogs for Enfield older adults and the Senior Center provides the musical entertainment. Bring a chair to Enfield Rotary Park at the Enfield Senior Center and enjoy an afternoon picnic. Free tickets are available in the Senior Center office. In the event of inclement weather, the picnic will be postponed until the following day.
