America’s favorite holiday tradition! Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the world-famous Rockettes is back for its 89th year at Radio City Music Hall. Experience the magical line up of the Parade of Wooden Soldiers. Enjoy the wondrous 3D Journey with Santa and his sleigh through the skies of New York. Celebrate the miracle of the first Christmas with the living nativity scene. Prior to the 2:00 p.m. performance you will have a delicious sit-down lunch at Carmine’s, a legendary family-style Italian Restaurant. Cost: $165 per person. Trip sign up date is June 30, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Senior Center Dining Room.
The Catholic Cemeteries Association will be hosting an educational event, on Wednesday, May 31 at 1 p.m., designed to prepare you to handle the difficult end of life issues. Four professionals from Cemeteries, Funeral Homes, Long Term Care and Legal community will help you plan and relieve the burden on those we leave behind. Please register for Dignity of Life by calling the Senior Center.
The Enfield Parent Leadership Academy invites older adults in the community to come for a short hike on the Senior Center Walking Trail with them. On Saturday, May 20 at 10 a.m. children, parents and older adults will meet at the walking trail, go for a walk on the trail, and have a snack and a story. A free book will be given to the first 40 families who attend. There is no charge for this event and no registration necessary.
The Elvis and Orbison Show on Friday, June 9 is sold out. The next show, California Dreamers: Mamas & Papas Tribute Band, is scheduled for Friday, July 21 at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $7 per person.
Mark your calendars and pick up your tickets. The Enfield Police Senior Picnic is on Wednesday, June 14 at noon. This annual event, sponsored by the Enfield Police Union and Police Benevolent Association, is held at Enfield Rotary Park on the Senior Center Grounds. This year, the EPD is trying something different. They are showing their appreciation to all Enfield older adult residents who have supported them. Free tickets can be picked up at the Police Station with proof of residency. Entertainment will be provided by the Elderly Brothers. Bring a chair and enjoy the day.

Day trips are available for sale on or after the trip sign-up date. Trip sign ups take place at the Senior Center at 10 a.m.
• Sail Away Argia, Mystic, CT, July 20, 2017. Cost: $77 per person.
• Block Island Breeze, July 27, 2017. Cost: $130 per person.
• Saratoga Racetrack, August 17, 2017. Cost: $113 per person. Trip sign up date is June 2, 2017.
• Radio City Christmas Spectacular, November 30, 2017. Cost: $165 per person. Trip sign up date is June 30, 2017.
Multi-Day Adventures
Reservations are being accepted for multi-day adventures.
• 3-Day Vermont, September 11-13, 2017. Cost $529 pp/double.
• Caribbean Cruise, January 28 – February 9, 2018. Cost $1649 pp/double.
• Spain’s Classics, April 19 – 29, 2018. Cost $3,899 pp/double.
