IT replaced over 150 laptops and desktop computers throughout the school system. Replacement computers consisted of All-in-One devices with 23" monitors. Organizational change management was applied to ensure a smooth transition of technology for the administrators at Central Office and 13 other locations. To ensure success and minimize disruption to administrators, we used an email campaign, including resources, videos and documentation and an onsite training event at each location the day prior to deployment. The physical deployment of devices, including the retrieval of older computers, was assisted by Whalley Computer. IT then conducted a follow up visit to each site to address issues and custom concerns. The preparation of IT ServiceDesk staff was designed to streamline the transition to operational support for devices.
