Technology automation software is now being used to aid in the restoration of computers at all our 32 locations when issues arise. This automation software is called Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). With this software, even locations with low bandwidth, can benefit because "distribution points" have been built at those locations to speed up the process without disrupting other network traffic. This software is used to "push down" images to devices. This means that technicians will not have to touch every machine to upgrade the user experience. We also use SCCM to remote into customer devices to assist with issues in realtime! There is also a library where we can store software and have customers apply approved software themselves, resulting in quicker turnaround time and less non-productive time.
