News Release for the Week of April
9, 2018
Thanks to a new
funding from the North Central Area Agency on Aging, Enfield seniors have the
opportunity for increased in-home services. Many seniors, age 60 and older, may
become isolated and are often unaware of what benefits they are entitled to.
Seniors who enroll in this new program can get access to specialty food items
and hygiene products as well as information about the many resources and
services available free of charge from Enfield Town Services. For more information or to enroll in the
program, contact Jessica Russell at 860-253-6403 or via email at jrussell@enfield.org.
What’s your story? We all have memories that we want
to pass on to our family and friends. Beryl Notman, an Enfield resident, has
written a memoir titled Life is Like That. She was born in Middlebury,
VT in 1940 and grew up on a farm in the VT countryside. Quiet miracles and
unbelievable tragedy are all here. Learn why and how to preserve precious
memories for those you love. Wednesday, April 11, 1 pm. Call 860-763-7425 to sign up. This is a free program.
The Investment Club meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Share information and
discuss smart investment strategies. No money is collected or pooled, as this
group meets for discussion only. Thursday, April 12, 2 pm. Just
drop in. No fee.

minerals, perform mining, and develop new medicines. These topics will be
discussed and explained. Tuesday, March 13, 10:30 am. Just drop in. No fee.
The first day of class registration for non-residents for
