Mayor Michael Ludwick has announced the appointment of Christopher W. Bromson as Enfield’s new Town Manager effective immediately. Bromson was appointed by unanimous Council vote.
According to Ludwick, “The Council is thrilled that Chris said ‘yes.’ Chris is an entirely known factor,” Ludwick said. “He’s served this Town with distinction and success in a several capacities for nearly 30 years. He’s been an exceptional Town Attorney, Public Safety Director and Acting Town Manager. No one can compete with Chris in either his base of municipal knowledge and experience or his innate people skills. If the last three months is any indication of where we’re headed, Enfield has some great things in store.” In the past few months, Chris already made a positive impact amongst Town employees from various departments as they were happy to learn that Bromson is staying.
Bromson is looking forward to this new opportunity. “It’s been great,” said Bromson of the last three months as Acting Town Manager. “I’ve gotten to know the dedicated employees and wonderful residents of the Town a little better. While I’ve loved serving as Town Attorney and Director of Public Safety, both of those positions enhanced my ability to be an effective Acting Town Manager, and ultimately readied me for this exciting challenge as Town Manager. It absolutely feels like the next right thing and I’m eager to continue my work with the Council, staff, and residents.”
