TAXPAYERS – DELINQUENT MOTOR VEHICLE ACCOUNTS COLLECTION SERVICES BEGINNING JUNE 1, 2019

The Town of Enfield has contracted with Rossi Law Offices, LTD for debt collection of delinquent motor vehicle accounts beginning on June 1, 2019.

Rossi Law Offices of Smithfield RI will begin collection services on delinquent motor vehicle tax balances. Delinquent accounts will be referred to Rossi Law Offices for collection periodically. These accounts are subject to a collection fee of 15% of the total delinquent tax and interest.

Payments may be made to Rossi Law Offices, Ltd., at 28 Thurber Blvd., Suite 1, Smithfield, RI 02917-1881 or on their website www.PayRossiLaw.com,  by electronic check or credit card.  This site also allows for taxpayers to propose a payment plan and for Frequently Asked Questions and Information.

Payments may also be made by mail or in person at Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082.   Taxpayers may also make credit card or debit card payment on the Town of Enfield’s homepage website at  www.enfield-ct.org and click “Make a Payment”,  the collection fee of 15% of taxes and interest will also be applied. 

This process with Rossi Law Offices, Ltd is an effort to collect remaining outstanding delinquent motor vehicle taxes.  Implementing a collection program with a collection agency is one factor in having success in collection of delinquent accounts.
