The Town of Enfield has announced the appointment of Cynthia Guerreri, MSW as its new Director of Social Services. She will assume responsibilities on November 12, succeeding Acting and former Director of Social Services, Pam Brown, who plans on returning to her retirement after she transitions Cindy into the Director of Social Services position.
Town Manager Christopher W. Bromson is very excited to welcome Guerreri to Enfield. “During the interview process Cindy demonstrated her breadth and depth of knowledge with her experience from infants, school age children, and our elderly residents. She has innovative ideas and will search for efficiencies in providing services to our children, residents and the public at large,” he said.
Her experience ranges from direct clinical social work in a variety of settings, to director of programs in nonprofit agencies that assist the state’s most vulnerable citizens, to facilitation of community planning designed to improve outcomes for people, services and systems.
Cindy has been the Founder and President of Essential Outcomes, LLC, a consulting firm that provides professional coaching, collective impact planning, evaluation and metrics, governance structure design and other resources for nonprofits, community collaboratives, school districts and municipalities.
“Cindy is a strong visionary leader with extensive experience in the public policy sector and I look forward to her to using her entrepreneurial insight in facilitating the programs offered by the Town of Enfield,” Bromson said.
Cindy earned her B.A. in Social Work from Monmouth University in New Jersey and a M.B.A. in Social Work from New York University.
Cindy resides in Tolland, CT and is married with two children.
