Enfield government is open for business. Employees are available to conduct town business by telephone or email.

For marriage licenses, a worksheet has been posted to the Town Clerk’s website. A couple is able to download the form, fill it out and send it back to the Town Clerk’s office or e-mail Townclerk@enfeld.org. They will reach out with further instructions. The Town Clerk can be reached at 860-253-6438.

Street sweeping, trash and recycle pickup as well potholes repairs will all continue.  Yard waste will resume on April 3.  Public Works can be reached at 860-763-7527.

The Building Department is processing permits online as usual. If you have permits to submit please go to our website www.enfield-ct.gov. Our inspectors are available and continue performing inspections that don’t put them or the public at risk. For any questions, please call 860-253-6370.

The Enfield Public Libraries are performing their work remotely and providing online story times for their patrons through social media outlets. Please follow the Enfield Public Library on Facebook for more information.

Transportation Services (Dial-A-Ride and Magic Carpet Bus) continue providing modified transportation options for the convenience of our residents. Due to the shortage of drivers, schedules may change daily. Please check the Enfield Transit webpage at https://www.enfield-ct.gov/376/Enfield-Transit and like Magic Carpet Bus and Dial A Ride on Facebook for updates. For questions call 860-272-3545.

The Enfield Youth Services team has been setting up virtual meetings with the Youth Advisory Committee to communicate remotely with youth and their families. For questions, please call 860-253-6383.

The Enfield Police Department and EMS are boldly performing their jobs on the front lines of this pandemic. Even under these extraordinary circumstances, Enfield Police are ensuring that our Town is safe and secure.
