ABSENTEE BALLOT BOXES AT ENFIELD TOWN HALL
820 ENFIELD STREET – ENFIELD CT
In anticipation of the large number of absentee ballots being used for the August 11, 2020 Presidential Preference and Republican primaries, The Secretary of the State has distributed Absentee Ballot Drop-Off Boxes for the use of our Enfield residents to deliver their ballot in person without having to enter the Town Hall.
The Town Clerk’s Office will process the applications for the ballot using the CT Voter Registration System. A mailing house hired by the State will distribute the ballots with some being handled locally. Ballots will be available for distribution on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 and after that date. As in the past, pre-addressed, return envelopes will be part of the absentee ballot package.
The Ballot Boxes are located at the back of the building at the automatic doors. The boxes are clearly marked and secure. The Town Clerk’s Office will be monitoring the boxes.

All ballots, of course, can still be mailed to the Town Clerk’s Office at 820 Enfield Street, Enfield CT 06082. Additionally, the polls will be open on Primary Day, Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. and are a safe option to use.
