On Wednesday, March 3rd, the Town of Enfield will be partnering with the North Central District Health Department to host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Enfield Senior Center. The clinic will be run from 10 AM to 4 PM. We are grateful to the health district for collaborating with the Town in this important endeavor.
Vaccinations are by appointment only for eligible recipients. No walk-ins will be accepted.
Following current public health guidelines, vaccinations for the general public are only approved for healthcare workers that are eligible under Phase 1a and CT residents aged 65 and older.
Beginning next week, people can sign up for an appointment via the state’s Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS) by visiting https://dphsubmissions.ct.gov/OnlineVaccine.
The clinic will be staffed by employees of the Local Health District and the Town of Enfield.
On Wednesday, February 24, from 10 AM – 1 PM, Community Health Center will be hosting a COVID testing site at the Enfield Senior Center. For more information or to register, visit www.chc1.com.
Given the everchanging supply of vaccine doses coming into CT, please continue to check the following CT DPH website for all updates concerning how to Schedule an appointment at the various available locations: https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/COVID-19-Vaccination-Scheduling-Options.
If you're aged 65 or older, or are included within any of the Phase 1a groups, you are currently eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccination in Connecticut.

Help Us Plan Enfield’s Future
The Town of Enfield and the Planning and Zoning Commission have started the comprehensive planning process to update the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD).The POCD is a strategic plan that will guide land use, development, and decision making for the next 10 years. As part of the planning process, we are seeking input from the community to inform our effort and the Plan. This Community Survey offers you an opportunity to provide your thoughts and perspectives on Enfield today and the Enfield you want to be part of in the future.
The survey only takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete—time well spent to participate in the planning of Enfield’s future. We thank you for your interest in our community and taking the time to inform the Town’s planning process.
