Referendum 2021 

On November 2, 2021, electors and qualified voters of the Town of Enfield will be asked to vote on 4 Referendum questions: ROADS, Roofs, Recreation, and Regional Public Safety Complex. For more information on the referendum, including a Power Point presentation, please visit the Town Clerk’s page at the following link: https://www.enfield-ct.gov/1304/2021-Election-Referendum

 

Please submit questions stating name and address to Referendum2021@enfield.org. Once staff have had the opportunity to answer all questions, the Town will post the Q & A document at the following link: https://www.enfield-ct.gov/1304/2021-Election-Referendum and update as necessary.

Solid Waste and Recycling Ordinance 

The Town Council will be conducting a public hearing to solicit the input of Enfield residents on the Solid Waste and Recycling Ordinance. The hearing will be held on August 2, 2021 at 6:15 PM in the Enfield Town Hall Council Chambers, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield CT. Enfield Regional Farmer’s Market

Please join us for the Enfield Regional Farmer’s Market this Sunday, July 11th, from 10 AM to 1 PM, on the Enfield Town Green! There will be 100 vendors selling fresh produce, delicious sweets, and handmade craft items. Please follow the market on Facebook and Instagram @EnfieldRegionalFarmersMarket for updates! FREE ICE CREAM!

 

At next Sunday’s Farmer’s Market, on July 18thwe are pleased to welcome two special guests. Come say hello to the Enfield Fire Department and Thompsonville Fire Department! They will be bringing a fire engine for families to visit. In addition, we also welcome everyone to come and meet our 4 new Community Police Officers. The 4 officers will be stationed out of the Thompsonville substation, located at 800 Enfield Street. The purpose of the Community Policing Unit includes building relationships with the Thompsonville community, following up on citizen complaints personally, engaging the community directly with high visibility and accessibility, and conducting discussions with community organizations in the area. We hope to see you there for these special events, shopping our vendors, and live music and free ice cream!
