My bill is prorated. What does that mean?
Pro rated means that the billing period is short, and not a true full billing period. If your meter is read on January 8, you will be billed from January 1 to January 8. If your next meter reading in on April 9, (because your meter is read every 3 months), you will be billed from February to April. This is a full 3 month billing cycle. This is not a prorated bill.
