K9 Nova is a 4 year old male German Shepherd, certified as a patrol dog by the Connecticut State Police K9 Unit since December 23, 2016. K9 Nova is also dual purpose certified in narcotics detection by NAPWDA since March 9, 2018.
K9 Nova was awarded the Trooper Davis award by the Connecticut State Police K9 Unit in 2017 and the 2017 tracking award by Connecticut Police Work Dog Association.
